In deciding to start up (yet another) of these desperate-for-attention internet sites, much wrangling with my fledgling soul has occured. And if that sounds too prosaic and emo for you, get to know me and you'll feel the sarcasm puddle beneath your computer, evacuating every orifice of the new zombie box.
In all seriousness, there is no real reason for this site, beyond my basic inability to keep track of a paper journal. Its public because.....why give a shit? I'm not going to be talking smack about the minutia of my life, or the people it contains. They may serve as relevant characters for the purpose of facilitating a point in my mental meanders, but beyond that, nothing personal here.
I've started this blog (as cringing as that phrase makes me) because I'm dis-satisfied with the dearth of exploratory conversation in my life. Nobody I'm in regular contact with can discuss the conception behind an action or an idea without getting personal/feeling attacked/getting bored because there are no commercial breaks in conversation. Posts will be irregular, I'm trying to finish a thesis and deal with all the fallout that comes with it. Why I picked now to feel the philosophical itch.....dunno.....avoidance? Maybe this should be my first post.........
